Through observation and active listening, a short individualized yoga practice is provided to clients, for self-exploration at home. This practice supports the client’s own unique healing process, helping them to delve deeper and access the healing power within.
Some of the yoga methods that are used are movement, sound, breath work, and visualization. These methods help clients cultivate awareness, deepen their focus, calm their nervous system, create more flexibility, allow energy to flow more efficiently, and assist in restoring balance to an injured part of the body. WebMD states that a consistent yoga practice can lower blood pressure and is linked to better immune system function.
