Arasini Apprenticeship Healing Program

A Healing Place is a sacred space for healing and experiential learning and an apprenticeship program to honor the energy system of the body where healing occurs.
In the six years I have been an apprentice, I have realized that:
I am not here to learn a technique but to become a whole human being. My focus has gone from external to internal.
There is no ego, no judgment in present time. My work is to stay present.
I am not here to heal someone else but rather to heal myself.
I am learning:
To allow the moment to be as it is. So much energy is free when there is no need to control.
To have friendships where we help each other process and clear. There is no right/wrong; no judgments.
Everything I need is within me. What I need to know is in the present moment.
There is a rhythmic process of letting go and receiving … like breathing. Healing is organic, happening on many levels at the same time. Intention fuels the process.
I understand today that:
Good medicine is a major component in healing.
It isn’t either/or but how can we combine our wisdom and skills to encourage healing.
Apprenticing as a healer is dedication to my healing … clearing old patterns, eating well, detoxing, resting, developing positive relationships, breath work, yoga … whatever creates and maintains balance.
Life happens not in a spirit of denial but when we allow ourselves to open more to the essence of who we are.
I rejoice to learn that:
Through standing barefooted on tile floors, I can feel old holding patterns in muscles.
Through softening and gentle movement, I am able to align my body with gravity instead of fighting against it.
As a result I can be comfortable in my body!
I can, through awareness, consciously inhabit every cell in my body.
This is an analogy for all of life!
I am learning the depths of gratitude:
I build on a precious foundation on the wisdom that is there for me.
Everyday I must be present and grounded to be able to experience it.
Every moment is new.
I am learning that:
I don’t know it all and that is not even the point.
Everyone has gifts.
I love the saying “Freedom that all may serve.”
The point of this work is to honor self and others and know that that is enough.
